1.0 Introduction

Nils Sperre AS takes the privacy and storage of your data seriously. On this page you will find an overview of how we process your information. One of the purposes of the new GDPR rules that came into force in May 2018 in the EU, July 2018 for other countries in Europe, is to provide private individuals, preferably consumers, a better overview and greater authority over their data. For example, it is not allowed to make the conditions so complex that they are not read. We have therefore tried to make this text as simplistic as possible. These terms may change from time to time to other and we therefore recommend that you visit this page regularly.

1.2 Definitions / concepts

To simplify our understanding of our privacy policy, we have created a list of definitions here. Feel free to give us feedback if there is something you are missing.

GDPR - General Data Protection Regulation
A regulation that entered into force in the EU on 25 May 2018. With so many countries joining the EU, the law also enters into force force in the rest of Europe after consideration in the EEA on 20 July 2018.

Cookies - Information Stored In Your Browser
All browsers have the ability to store small capsules with information. This information is stored in your browser and may contain name, value and expiration date. You can read more about how cookies work in this blog post .

Algorithm - Tells about how to do something
For example, how long a cookie should be stored.

Authentication - Identity Verification Action
Easy authentication can be done by having only one long address. Advanced authentication can be that one has both username, password and an SMS code.

This can be legal or voluntary consent has been given for the information to be stored. If the information stored can not be linked to a specific person, you do not need consent.

IP Address - Internet Protocol Address
Unique number that identifies a device on a network. Inside a local network, all devices are different network, while externally all devices on, for example, the same wifi network have the same IP address.

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, protest and data portability.

2.0 What we store without asking

We can store data anonymously without asking. As long as the data can not be traced back to you, this is it allowed. This is done for the purpose of being able to analyze visitor data and improve the user experience of ours websites. We also store visitor traffic anonymously to prevent abuse, hacking and attempted fraud.

2.1 Statistics

Sorentio Publish

This site uses Sorentio Publish as its publishing solution. Through the publishing solution to Sorentio gives the owner of the website the opportunity to see a daily overview of, among other things, visits, page views and which pages are visited. Sorentio employees also follow these statistics to optimize the site as best as possible. All information is stored anonymously. The cookies that are created is:

  • VisitA: Stored for 30 min.
  • VisitB: Stored for 30 days.
  • VisitC: Stored for 180 days.

2.2 Google

Google Analytics

A very common analysis tool for analyzing user behavior on a website is Google Analytics. This is a free service from Google that allows you to see the number of visitors, page views, traffic sources, length of visit, geographical location and much more. To store information about the visitors, use Google Analytics is a javascript, which in turn creates various cookies in your browser. Data collected through Google Analytics is collected anonymously. It is not possible to link it to you as a user.

Google Remarketing

When you visit a website, a cookie (cookie) is stored in your browser. Then, when you visit another site that contains ads from the same site you just visited is retrieved these ads appear and appear tailored just for you. If this cookie is not in your browser, a completely different ad is retrieved from another site you have visited, or perhaps one more random ad used based on segments other than remarketing. 2.3 Facebook

Using a javascript from Facebook, we can display ads to you on Facebook after you visit our websites. We do not collect any data that can identify you as a person, but we use in some cases the ability to show you ads after you visit our web pages.

2.4 Twitter

Using a javascript from Twitter, we can display ads to you on Twitter after you visit our websites. We do not collect any data that can identify you as a person, but we use in some cases the ability to show you ads after you visit our web pages.

2.5 LinkedIn

Using a javascript from Linkedin, we can show you ads on Linkedin after you visit our websites. We do not collect any data that can identify you as a person, but we use in some cases the ability to show you ads after you visit our web pages.

3.0 What we store, but ask you first

When you provide us with information, we store it in a database. If there is information that is personal identification, we always ask about this first.

3.1 Newsletter

In order to send you newsletters, we must at least save your email address. We store what and when we have sent you something, as well as whether the emails we send you have been opened or not. Purpose of storage whether you have opened the emails or not, is to be able to measure which newsletters are liked best and whether you see what we send you or not. If we do not see that you open our emails over time, will we may contact you to inquire if you would like to continue receiving information from us. In some In some cases, we will ask if we can store more about you. This can be name, phone and more contact information. The purpose of this is to be able to contact you, as well as adapt the information we send you better.

3.2 Download

When you download information from our website, we will sometimes ask for your email address and any other information. We do this because we want to know who is downloading free information from our websites that we have used time and expertise to develop. You will never be registered for any of ours newsletter without us first asking.

3.3 Contact Forms

One of the methods you can use to get in touch with us is contact forms. In and with the whole purpose is that you want to get in touch with us, we do not specifically ask if we can store the information. Plus In order for the information to be stored in a database, it is usually sent to one or more of our employees by email.

4.0 Exception

If there are laws that require us to store information about you or the authorities require us to that, we will do this. To the extent possible, we will inform you as soon as possible.

4.1 Children

We will not store information about children under 15 years of age. It can be difficult to tell if a person is under 15 years unless we receive information about it. Should that happen, we can be notified mail@nsperre.no and we will delete the information as soon as possible as possible.

5.0 Security

We value your safety. We have therefore installed SSL certificate on all our websites so that the information sent between you and our server is always encrypted.

5.1 Backup

All our data is backed up every day. The information is stored at several times in several servers that are physically located in different geographical locations. Both main server and backup servers, is located in Norway. Because the information is on multiple servers, it may take some time if you ask us to delete personal information about you. However, this will not exceed 14 days.

5.2 Data Processor

We use Administrator Systems AS and Sorentio AS to store data. Both have their haunts in Ålesund municipality. Both have access to data we store, but no one has the right to access the data without ours consent.

6.0 Your settings

Here you can adjust what you want us to store in your browser and about you. Be aware that the settings you make here only apply to the browser you are currently using.

Advertising:

We sometimes use remarketing in different channels. This means that after visiting our website, Ads may appear in various channels based on the fact that you have visited our website. You can screw this of in the choices below, but each note that you only prevent the code from being run on our websites. Data which is already stored with the advertising platform, you may need to turn it off by deleting cookies on your machine. As the advertising platforms change the names of their cookies from time to time, we recommend that you delete all cookies from your computer if you want to be completely safe.
